چکیده

This paper considers the mixed sensitivity optimization problem for a class of infinite-dimensional stable plants. This problem is reducible to a twoor one-block H∞ control problem with structured weighting functions. We first show that these weighting functions violate the genericity assumptions of existing Hamiltonian-based solutions such as the well-known Zhou–Khargonekar formula. Then, we derive a new closed form formula for the computation of the optimal performance level, when the underlying plant structure is specified by a pseudorational transfer function. © 2005 Elsevier B.V. Finding the Shortest Hamiltonian Path for Iranian Cities Using Hybrid Simulated Annealing and Ant Colony Optimization Algorithms

The traveling salesman problem is a well-known and important combinatorial optimization problem. The goal of this problem is to find the shortest Hamiltonian path that visits each city in a given list exactly once and then returns to the starting city. In this paper, for the first time, the shortest Hamiltonian path is achieved for 1071 Iranian cities. For solving this large-scale problem, tw...

Comparison and Supply Chain Optimization for Vendor-Buyer Coordination System

Here, we consider single vendor-buyer model with multi-product and multi-customer and multi-facility location-production-distribution problem. It is assumed that the players of the supply chain are coordinated by sharing information. Vendor manufactures produce different products at different plants with limited capacities and then distribute the products to the consumers according to determini...

An iterative method for the Hermitian-generalized Hamiltonian solutions to the inverse problem AX=B with a submatrix constraint

In this paper, an iterative method is proposed for solving the matrix inverse problem $AX=B$ for Hermitian-generalized Hamiltonian matrices with a submatrix constraint. By this iterative method, for any initial matrix $A_0$, a solution $A^*$ can be obtained in finite iteration steps in the absence of roundoff errors, and the solution with least norm can be obtained by choosing a special kind of...

Global optimization of mixed-integer polynomial programming problems: A new method based on Grobner Bases theory

Mixed-integer polynomial programming (MIPP) problems are one class of mixed-integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) problems where objective function and constraints are restricted to the polynomial functions. Although the MINLP problem is NP-hard, in special cases such as MIPP problems, an efficient algorithm can be extended to solve it. In this research, we propose an algorit...

ACO-Based Neighborhoods for Fixed-charge Capacitated Multi-commodity Network Design Problem

The fixed-charge Capacitated Multi-commodity Network Design (CMND) is a well-known problem of both practical and theoretical significance. Network design models represent a wide variety of planning and operation management issues in transportation telecommunication, logistics, production and distribution. In this paper, Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) based neighborhoods are proposed for CMND pro...
